What are Jemlin’s signing event policies?
Any orders placed for events MUST be picked up at the event.
Orders will NOT be shipped or refunded if they are not picked up.
If you will have someone picking up your order for you, you must enter their name in the order comments section at checkout.
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute for an order that was not picked up (either by you OR your pickup person),
you will be banned from purchasing from any future events and the website.
How many orders can one person pick up for someone else?
As of right now, Jemlin does not limit the amount of orders one person can pick up.
We do ask that you be mindful of what you can handle and that purchasers vet those they are having pickup for them, prior to placing an order.
My order that was picked up at an event is damaged and/or something is missing from my order. What do I do?
We strongly recommend that you check over any pickup orders or purchases prior to leaving the signing room.
If your items are damaged or missing, we can replace them as long as you let us know BEFORE the event is over.
Once the event has concluded, orders are no longer eligible for replacements or refunds.
I have an issue or question about a Prettygalpins monthly deck. Who should I contact?
Jemlin and her team do not handle the distribution of the PGP monthly decks.

GRIM GATES FAQ
What is Grim Gates?
The Grim Gates is a dark romance box. Our boxes may feature any subgenres of dark romance including but not limited to: paranormal, alien/monster, omegaverse, fantasy, contemporary, bully, mafia, taboo, why choose, etc.
We are not a subscription at this time, as we only do preorder boxes and event exclusive special editions.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally. We sometimes may be limited on which countries/territories we can ship to due to licensing/publisher/author rights. We aim to be able to ship globally whenever possible.
NOTE: Any import fees, VAT fees, or conversion fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Grim Gates is not responsible for these fees. Should your order be returned to us because of non-payment of duties/customs/taxes, we will NOT issue a refund and you would need to pay additional shipping fees for your order to be resent.
Can I cancel my order?
We allow cancellations anytime during the preorder period. Once preorders have closed, orders are final and cannot be canceled.
Filing a payment dispute or chargeback with your card/bank will result in all orders being cancelled and you will be banned from purchasing from us in the future.
Can I change my address?
Addresses can be changed up until shipping time and labels are printed. Once your label has been printed, your address is locked.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product(s) arrived to you in a damaged condition.
Damaged book or item claims must be submitted to our email thegrimgates@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery to qualify.
What do I do if my book or items are damaged?
Reach out to thegrimgates@gmail.com as quickly as possible after opening your package and finding damaged items.
Please include your order number and photos of the damage.

My package was lost/stolen. Can I be refunded or receive a replacement?
*Your package is not considered lost unless the tracking has not updated in 30 days or more. If this is the case, contact us and we will send a replacement.
*If your package has been marked as delivered but cannot be located, please contact your local postal service immediately for assistance.
We cannot replace or refund any orders that have been marked as delivered, but are presumed stolen/lost.
What is your damage policy?
CARDS:
Cards qualify for damage if they have any of the following: excessive peeling on the corners or edges, multiple spots of foiling missing, or dented/damaged edges.
BOOKS:
Books qualify for damage if they have any of the following: missing pages, a tear/cut/dent on the cover or spine (must be 0.75in or larger), extremely dented or crushed corners, ripped or bent pages that affect the text, or a misprint where your copy was bound upside down or incorrectly.
Please Note: You will either be required to send the damaged items/books back to us (we would provide a paid for return label) OR you may be required to damage the item/book further so that it may not be resold for profit.
This will be decided by the customer service team on a case by case basis.
